A hot dish must come down in temperature quickly and under control. The Cooling module records the start and the end of each cycle, and warns you if the temperature drop is too slow.
Start a cooling
- From the home screen, tap the Cooling tile.
- Tap Add a cooling.
- Fill in the Product, the Cooling start time and the Initial temperature.
- Tap Validate.
The cooling then appears under Cooling in progress.
End a cooling
- Open the line concerned, then tap End a cooling.
- Fill in the end time and the End temperature.
- Tap Validate.
The session moves to Cooling finished and the message "Cooling saved" confirms the record.
Good to know
- The end time must be later than the start time; otherwise the message "The end time must be later than the start time" appears.
- If the temperature drop falls outside the regulatory limits, the app shows a warning: it does not block the save, but the deviation must be justified in your food safety management plan.
- A notification reminds you to end a cooling that has been left open: remember to allow notifications on the device.
