Track a hot or cold transport

As soon as preparations leave your kitchen, the cold (or hot) chain still has to be provable. The Transports module records the departure and the arrival.

Start a transport

1. From the home screen, tap the Transports tile.
2. Tap Add a transport.
3. Fill in the Product, the Departure location, the start time and the Initial temperature.
4. Tap Validate.

The transport appears under Transport in progress.

Close a transport

1. Open the transport, then tap End a transport.
2. Fill in the Arrival location, the end time and the End temperature.
3. Tap Validate.

The message "Transport saved" confirms it, and the transport moves to Transport finished.

Good to know

• The departure location and the arrival location are mandatory: they are what makes the transport traceable.
• The arrival time must be later than the departure time.
• Unlike the cooling and reheating modules, the app does not check transport temperatures automatically: it is up to you to verify that the cold or hot chain was respected.
