Check your frying oil

The Fryers module keeps a record of the quality of your oil baths and of what you did with them: reuse, filtering or a change.

Before you start

Your fryers must be listed. Until they are, the screen shows "Start by listing all your fryers" and the List my fryers button.

Record a check

1. From the home screen, tap the Fryers tile.
2. Check today's date.
3. For each fryer, enter the Action taken: Reuse, Filtering or Change.
4. The Test value field only exists when the Record test value option is enabled in the fryer settings: enter it. While it is empty, the line shows "Waiting for test value".
5. Tap Save.

The message "Information saved" confirms the record, and the bottom button then shows "Saved by" followed by the team member's first name.

Good to know

• Entering a test value is switched on in Fryers setup: without an oil tester, the action taken is enough.
• One check per fryer per day: once it is saved, the button locks.
• After three months, checks are archived and stay available through an export.
